    Regulatory notice

    Evidence, not attestations

EU supervisory frameworks — NIS2, DORA, the CRA — increasingly expect operators to show monitoring evidence aligned to their obligations, on demand. SkyQon's signed reports are built for that request: what was measured, when, and what it showed.

    ▾ Lookalike Domains Add-on

SkyQon generates the typosquat variants of your domains an attacker would register (homoglyph, omission, transposition, TLD-swap, …) and checks each for liveness — does it resolve, send mail, or hold a TLS certificate? A registrar or a TLS certificate alone is not evidence of attack — every registered domain has a registrar, and certificates are free; a certificate just means the domain is live and can look convincing. Open a case when a close match is live and able to hurt you — it resolves and can send mail or serves content impersonating you (that is what CRITICAL risk and a threat score ≥ 70 approximate). Dormant candidates: dismiss or just watch — the daily sweep re-checks and alerts the moment one activates.

Signing certificates seen in ingested C2PA-signed assets. Trust combines OCSP/CRL revocation with C2PA Trust List CA membership. Plan ahead for the post-quantum era

This score reflects the cryptography we observed on your scanned endpoints. NIST finalised the post-quantum standards (FIPS 203 / 204 / 205) in 2024, yet mainstream certificate authorities are not issuing post-quantum certificates in production today. Treat this as advisory guidance to help you prepare. The timelines are target windows, not deadlines, and there is nothing you need to fix today.

    Auto-Renew Active

Turn your #1 alert — certificate expiry — into a fix. An agent on your host runs ACME locally and renews on schedule. Your private key is generated on your host and never leaves it — SkyQon orchestrates the schedule and proves each renewal; it never holds key material.

    Renewal agents

Install one lightweight agent per host that holds the certificates you want renewed. It pulls renewal jobs OUTBOUND — SkyQon never connects into your network. The same agent also runs PQC discovery if you use it. The token is shown once.
    Loading…
Enrollment token — copy it now, it won't be shown again:
Configure the agent (see agent/renew-agent.example.env): set SKYQON_BASE_URL, SKYQON_AGENT_TOKEN to this value, and your ACME client command, then run on a timer.
Install renewed certificates automatically on the server
Pick what serves the certificate. Run the command on that host, in the folder you unpacked the agent into, with the token from above.

How it stays safe: the agent stays an unprivileged user and only asks for an install. A small root service on the host does the install, and it reads the recipe and file paths from /etc/skyqon-renew/install.json, which only root can change. SkyQon cannot choose what runs or where. Before installing, it checks the certificate names the host and matches its key. If the server rejects the new configuration, the old files are put back. Change paths with --install-opt.

    Managed certificates

Enroll a certificate by its domains (SANs). When it nears expiry the assigned agent renews it from the chosen ACME directory. Issuance via Let's Encrypt staging is recommended while you validate the flow, then switch to production.
Issues from SkyQon's own CA (chains to Issuing CA G2). The EAB key is stored encrypted and handed only to the assigned agent — it is never shown again. The agent host needs ManagementCA1 in its trust store. DNS-01 is recommended for internal names.
Issues from your own account at the CA: create ACME credentials (EAB key ID and HMAC) in the CA's portal and paste them here. They are stored encrypted and handed only to the assigned agent. The CA bills and validates as it does today; the private key stays on your server. A CA that cannot reach the server over HTTP needs DNS-01.

    Issued certificates Growth+

What your private CAs actually issued — the ledger behind issued-vs-deployed reconciliation. Connectors push incrementally from inside your network (EJBCA, HashiCorp Vault); any other CA can be imported from a PEM export. Revocation is tracked from each connector's own feed, or by polling the issuing CA's published CRL (Revocations). Your CAs and their counts are under Authorities; what runs out soon is under Expiring.

Paste a PEM bundle exported from any CA — Microsoft AD CS (certutil), step-ca, or an appliance's export button. Certificates are parsed here and land in the ledger under the import connector. Each certificate's published CRL distribution points are registered automatically so revocation keeps being tracked.
    CERTIFICATE LIFECYCLE · PRIVATE CA

    Revocations Growth+

How revocation reaches the ledger: the published certificate revocation lists (CRLs) SkyQon polls for certificates without a live connector. Imported certificates register their distribution points here automatically. The revoked certificates themselves are listed under Issued certificates — pick the Revoked tile.

    CRL revocation feeds

SkyQon polls these from our infrastructure, so only publicly reachable CRL endpoints work here — a CRL served only inside your network is invisible to us, and certificates from that CA rely on their connector's own revocation feed instead. http:// is correct and expected for CRLs (RFC 5280: a CRL is a signed artifact; the transport adds nothing).

    CA connectors Enterprise · add-on

Issue and revoke on your own private CA without leaving this dashboard — EJBCA or AWS Private CA. Issuing is from a certificate signing request only, so the private key of a certificate you issue here never reaches SkyQon. For EJBCA, SkyQon calls its REST API over mutual TLS with a client certificate that your CA issued, and the REST listener must be publicly reachable. For AWS Private CA, SkyQon uses an IAM role you create for it; no AWS key is stored.

    Connectors

    Loading…

    Install the client certificate

Sign this request on your EJBCA with a certificate profile that allows Client Authentication, bind the resulting certificate to a role with the access rules below, then paste the certificate here. The matching private key was generated by SkyQon and is stored encrypted; it is never shown.

    Access rules the role needs
    Always: /administrator/, /protocol/rest/, /ca/<your CA>/, /ca_functionality/view_ca/
To issue: /ca_functionality/use_ca/, /ra_functionality/create_end_entity/, /ra_functionality/edit_end_entity/, and create + edit on each end entity profile you issue from
To revoke: /ra_functionality/revoke_end_entity/, and revoke on each end entity profile
To publish a CRL after a revoke (optional): /ca_functionality/create_crl/
Also switch on System Configuration → Protocol Configuration → REST Certificate Management and REST CA Management.

    Connect an EJBCA

The listener that requires a client certificate — port 8443 on a default EJBCA install, not 8442. The path /ejbca/ejbca-rest-api/v1 is added if you leave it off.
Required. SkyQon trusts only what you paste here for this connection and never switches certificate checking off.
The key is encrypted before it is stored and is never shown again.

    Connect AWS Private CA

Create an IAM role in your AWS account that SkyQon may assume, then enter it here. It is a separate role from a read-only discovery connector: this one can issue and revoke, so grant it on purpose and only on the CA you name.
    How to create the role
    1. Trust policy (who may assume the role) — replace the ExternalId with your own value:

    2. Permissions policy — replace the Resource with your CA's ARN:

SkyQon's calls appear in your CloudTrail under the session name skyqon-ca-actions.
The region is read from the ARN.
Templates that would make the certificate a CA are refused: issuing a CA is a ceremony, not a dashboard action.

Through your agent — AD CS, Vault PKI, internal EJBCA

For a CA SkyQon cannot reach directly, the agent inside your network can issue and revoke on your instruction. Every instruction is signed with your passkey, and the agent checks that signature against approver keys your team placed on the agent's host — SkyQon never holds them, so SkyQon itself cannot order anything. The host also decides which CAs, templates and how many per hour. It is off until switched on there; see the agent's README.

    Issue a certificate

Make the key and the request on the machine that will use the certificate, for example openssl req -new -newkey ec -pkeyopt ec_paramgen_curve:P-256 -nodes -keyout server.key -subj "/CN=app.example.com" -out server.csr, and paste the request. The key stays with you.
You will be asked for your passkey. The agent then has five minutes to pick the instruction up; this page follows it until the CA answers.

    Revoke a certificate

Revoking cannot be undone, except for a certificate placed on hold (EJBCA only — AWS Private CA has no hold). Pick a certificate from the list below, or enter the serial number and, for EJBCA, the issuer exactly as your CA shows them.
Through the agent: you will be asked for your passkey, and the agent reads the certificate's status back from the CA after revoking.
AWS Private CA publishes the revocation in its next revocation list, about 30 minutes after you revoke. There is no way to publish it sooner.

Issued and revoked through this dashboard

Every attempt is kept, including the ones your CA refused. This list cannot be edited or cleared, and it stays if a connector is removed.

    Entity ID / Audience:
    ACS (Reply) URL:
    Metadata: SP metadata XML

Roles: tenant_admin, member, tenant_viewer. On each sign-in the highest matched role is applied — promoting/demoting a user in your IdP propagates here. Users in no mapped group get the default role above.
